you might don't know but I cannot reach woocommerce support so ask:
on single product pages: would it be possible to reverse the position of the short description and description in order to get the main description right in front of the product picture (which would be a bit more relevant I believe & it's the case on most of e-commerce web-sites)

Hello,
Woocommerce show the product description via woocommerce tabs. If you want to edit that please go to plugins > woocommerce > templates > single-product > tabs > description.php then find this code
<?php the_content(); ?>
Replace it with
<?php the_excerpt(); ?>
After that open up short-description.php on templates > single-product. Find this code
<?php echo wpautop(wptexturize($post->post_excerpt)) ?>
Replace it with
<?php echo the_content(); ?>
