Hi,

As part of the portfolio I am describing companies. Now I would like to make it possible for visitors to leave a review underneath each portfolio, including star rating system. There are many plugins within WP who offer customer reviews, but how can I implement this within the code so that it is included automatically with each portfolio entry?

Hi Mark,

You'll need to add the php hooks for those items to the single-portfolio.php file after the portfolio single loop is called but before the related posts.

Thanks for your reply. I have downloaded the following plugin: WP Customer Reviews. What is the exact code that I have to include in the single-portfolio.php file to have the reviews appear on the portfolio pages?

I checked the plugin page: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-customer-reviews/ and it seems like the plugin doesn't offer a developer api (or php functions) which allows us to implement the review code into the portfolio templates. Please check the plugin options page - maybe the plugin author uses hooks to display the review content and you just need to configure the right location. If not I'd contact the author and ask him how you can add the review data to a wordpress page template.
