RSS feeds, twitter, and facebook links

   I entered my twitter account, but not an RSS feed or Facebook account in the Velvet theme options. In my footer, I see an RSS icon and a twitter icon, both gray. The twitter link works, but is gray. The RSS feed goes somewhere, but not where I want.

   How do I get the twitter icon to display normally? How do I remove the RSS feed icon?

   Hi,

   To remove the rss button, you can add this on your custom.css

   .social_bookmarks .rss a {
   display: none;
   }

   The twitter icon is actually gray. If you want to change it, you can manually edit the image in wp-content/themes/velvet/images/skin-minimal/twitter.png.

   Thanks. Is there a reason the twitter icon is showing gray like it's disabled? It actually works, but doesn't look like it does.

   Hi,

   Like I said, you need to edit the actual image or replace it entirely. You can find it on wp-content/themes/velvet/images/skin-minimal/twitter.png.

   Sorry, I was so excited about the code I didn't see the rest of the message. Just out of curiosity,why doesn't it use the regular twitter icon?

   Hi!

   Afaik Kriesi used the free Iconsweet icon set: http://www.iconsweets2.com/ which comes with clean/minimal icons.
