    Hi All,

I need to change the Heading Font, menu names and body text to be the same font.

I need to purchase the font I want to use, but unsure of how I go about getting all text’s to be in the same font. From what I read I need to create a new Cufon font for the headline, just not too sure about setting up the menu and body text.

As always any help or advice is appreciated.

    Regards

    Marc

    Hey,

Firstly, before you buy any fonts make sure the font licence allows for web embedding (i.e. you’re allowed to use the font on the Internet).

There are 2 ways of embedding custom fonts that are relatively straightforward. The 1st is using Cufon to load your font – to do this you need to use a cufon generator (http://cufon.shoqolate.com/generate/) to generate the file and modify the theme to use this font.

The 2nd method is font-face which allows you to select a font in the same way you would for a “safe” web font, using CSS. There is a tutorial on using font face which may be beneficial (http://www.miltonbayer.com/font-face/); there is also a font face CSS generator to assist you (http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fontface/generator).

Cool thanks for the links and the reminder about web font licensing – off to check that out!

    Cheers
