I'm fairly new to this so need it explaining simply if possible, how to I get the search bar in the top header of the page (as on the demo at: http://www.kriesi.at/themedemo/?theme=abundance)
to use the predictive search bar I have gotten (that can be seen here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/woocommerce-predictive-search/screenshots/)
I'm struggling to find in any options where I can change this search bar I can change the other ok.

Hi James,
I believe you need to purchase the pro version of that plugin in order to place it anywhere. Then you should be able to use the code provided to either replace the:
get_search_form();
in header.php or replace the searchform.php code. It just depends on what the plugin wants you to do.
