   Hi,

   I am using shoutbox theme on a multisite (www.heyheygorgeous.com), and I was hoping the search box could search all the sites and also the comments(reviews). Is that possible?

   Hey,
   I know that Relevanssi search plugin: Relevanssi can search multiple blogs. You need to buy the premium/budget version though.

   Hi,
   does it exist a simply way to remove the enlargement effect of the search box in the menu bar? I prefer a fixed dimension. Although the effect is nice, I think that fixed size is more usable.

   Yes, add following code to css/custom.css:
   

   .search_site {
       width: 146px !important;
   }

   and adjust the width value.

   Question.. Is it simple enough to swap Relevanssi premium/budget with the search box on "Choices"? Got to say Love the theme, thank you. Or is there more to it, I too have a Multisite and I need the search box to work with all my sites (3 in total), But still have the Choices search box look. I just need it to work.

   Hey!

   We implement the standard wordpress search form (code can be found in searchform.php). Afaik you don't need to use a special search form and Relevanssi uses hooks to change the search query.

    Afaik you don't need to modify any theme files at all. Relevanssi will hook into the search query (process which starts after the user clicks on the search button) and then manipulates the search results. You don't need to change the search form code.
