    Hi,

    Is it possible to add a search function on the header, similar to what you have on your own website?

    Thanks
    James

    Hello!

    That customization would require a deep customization to the theme, and unfortunately that is beyond the scope of the support we can offer. If you really need it try hiring a freelancer for the job.

    Cheers!

    Ok…that’s not the answer I was hoping to receive. Do you have the function on your other themes?

    Hi!

    Sure, this site is using Enfold, you can get it here: http://themeforest.net/item/enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme/4519990

    Ok. Thanks for the reply.

    Would it be simple to add a standard php search form input box …

    <form method=”get” id=”searchform” action=”<?php bloginfo(‘home’); ?>/”>
    <div><input type=”text” size=”18″ value=”<?php echo wp_specialchars($s, 1); ?>” name=”s” id=”s” />
    <input type=”submit” id=”searchsubmit” value=”Search” class=”btn” />
    </div>
    </form>

    …next to the social media buttons? I have been trying to work it out how to do it, but I have been failing :-(

    If this is beyond your scope of support, not to worry.

    Thanks
    James

    Hi!

    In WordPress dashboard please go to Appearance > Editor and open Header.php file and find

    echo "</div></div>";

    and add following line right above that line

    get_search_form();

    then add following code to Quick CSS in Incarnation theme options under Styling tab

    #searchform { float: right; right: 100px; top: 12px; }

    Cheers!
