    Hi,
when using the search feature on the home page, it creates a dynamic page with the results.
How can I choose the specific widget area which will be displayed in it?

    Thanks

    Hey NMOI,

hm? what do you mean? can you explain further please? though it sounds to me as you would need to search a plugin with such a function.

    Best regards,
    Andy

    Hi Andy,

No, I’m speaking about Enfold’s search feature: the page displayed when clinking on the magnifying glass icon at the right top of Enfold’s homepage. Enfold opens a new dynamic page with a kind of default widget area that I don’t know how to change.

Please have a look at http://www.multimediatique.fr

    Thanks

    Hi!

Please go to Enfold/includes/loop-search.php and modify that file as needed

    Hey!

I am afraid there is not. Could you please elaborate on the changes you would like to make?

    Cheers!

    Hi Yigit,

I’d just like to choose the widget area. The one displayed here comes from nowhere.

    Thanks

    Hi,

it’s quite unclear to me what you want to achieve. Can you elaborate and explain further please?

    Best regards,
    Andy

    Hi Andy,

From my homepage (www.multimediatique.fr), please click on the magnifying glass, type a request and enter. You will get a results page . On the right side of this page, there is a widget area that I didn’t choose.

This is the problem. I don’t know where it comes from, but I want to create a custom widget area and make it appear here instead. I know how to do it in a static page, but not for the results page.

Do you understand wwhat I’m looking for?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Go to the Appearance > Widgets panel then add the widgets in the Displayed Everywhere widget area. If you need to have more control over these widgets, install the following plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-logic/

    Hi Ismael,

Why not, but what would be the trigger?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Why not, but what would be the trigger?

I’m sorry but I’m not sure what you meant by that. Did you try the plugin? Use the is_search or is_page conditional function. https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/is_search

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Ismael,

Yes, that’s exactly what I meant by trigger.

    Thanks

    Hi,

I am not sure if you still need assistance. Shall we mark the thread as resolved? :)

    Best regards,

    Hi Yigit,

I haven’t had enough time to try it, but it seems to be the information I was looking for. So yed, you can close the thread.
