the search results are all messed up, any ideas how to just search the products and have them showing in the search results as thumbnails like on the other product listings pages

Hey headphonehub,
Search results are just getting spit out via the wordpress search function. I'd recommend a plugin like http://www.relevanssi.com/ if you want to customize them.
