First, thanks for the brilliant work on this theme! Really love it.
I got a question about the portfolio: Is it possible to have a 2nd image underneath the portfolio slideshow? Preferred is to have a fixed picture, no slideshow below the portfolio slideshow. (+/- 20px below the slideshow)
(I want a wide horizontal image and the sidebar is too narrow)
Thanks in advance

It is possible though it will take a bit of customization and fine tuning on your part. In your theme files, you’ll need to open and edit includes>loop-portfolio-single.php. What you are looking to do is add a new div after the div class=”four units entry-content” ends (NOT immediately after that line). This new div will then need to be populated using your own custom field for each portfolio item. See: http://codex.wordpress.org/Custom_Fields
Whatever class you name that new div will probably need a basic style with a width of 100% to keep it adaptive then some tweaking for cross browser compatibility.
For the Ajax portfolio styles, you’ll need to do almost the exact same thing but the changes will be in functions-flagship.php. Just search for:
echo "<div class='inner_slide'>";
to find the start of the code. This usage also uses two_third and one_third instead of the eight unit and four unit that is used in the loop-portfolio-single.php.

Glad it’s possible, only I don’t understand what code and where I have to put it. Line 33 or lower? The image should be as responsive as the slideshow itself.
On the overview portfolio page I’ve put the jpg in the excerpt field, which works fine. I want this jpg also below the slideshow in the portfolio items.
I’ve put/tested this code ” <?php the_meta(); ?> ” on several positions in the loop-portfolio-single.php, but none seem to work. I couldn’t even see the custom field menu (did check the screen options :-)
Hope you can help

You may need to click Screen Options at the top of the visual editor and select the checkbox so that custom fields meta box appears.
Line 33 would be right after the start of the four unit div which isn’t where you want it. You want it to come after both the eight and four unit divs which I believe is right at line 90.
Here is where you’ll make your new div class which calls for the meta field that you’ll add to the portfolio piece which will just be a path to your secondary wide image.
As for making sure its responsive, it should work with just making the new container div have a defined width of 100% though without actually going through and building everything I can’t say with absolute certainty.

Thanks for the quick response. The custom field box doesn’t appear on the portfolio items pages, only on the normal pages. I need it on the portfolio item pages.
Isn’t there a way to add a second slideshow below, with the same width etc, with just one picture?

Ah I see, it must not be enabled for the custom post types.
No, unfortunately there isn’t a way that I know of to easily add in another slideshow as the information needs to come from somewhere for each specific portfolio item that uses the template and a second one would require a new second set of variables for each portfolio item.
Another idea would be if you output the_excerpt below the portfolio content and then used the image and information there.
