    Currently, the theme shows the social icons on the right, and a message on the left.

    Is it possible to use that are to put in a secondary navigation, like you see on many other themes? which can then be set through the menu’s screen, naturally. just plain textlinks i mean, liek regular hrefs.

    This would be very useful. Any pointers as to how to approach this?

    Ofcourse, it would be nice if these items would be placed above the social icons, not on top of them (as is now with the message bar).-> in responsive mode.

    I am not sure if you want to put it on top of the social icons or below them. If you want to put something on top of them, maybe you can try this. On your header.php, look for <div id=’wrap_all’> and create a new div below and call the custom wp_nav_menu, for example.

    <div class="new-div">
    <?php wp_nav_menu( array('menu' => 'New Menu')); ?>

    Then on your custom.css drop this line.

    .new-div {
    display: block;
    height: 90px;
    width: 960px;
    background: #000;
    margin:0 auto;

    Of course you can style it differently. :)

    thanks for the quick reply! however, what i mean is not on top, but next to the social icons, replacing the “info” button / bar.

    i have illustrated it in this screenshot:

    as you can see, i’d like it to be positioned on top (above the social icons) when viewed on iphone.

    is my picture clear enough?

    Hi timtoolman,

    In that case you would follow the same directions except replace the

    With the code above. You will then need to style the new div to fit into the space properly.
