    Dear Kriesi-Support-Team,

    while doing SEO for my customer I found out that the name field in the customer review item from avia affects SEO negatively.
    This is because it is marked as bold and so google thinks it is important.
    Although the impact of an expression marked as bold might be not that big compared to an expression marked as h1 it seems to appear at least in the summary google gives in its search results.
    As I googled for the page of my customer the name of a reviewer appeared in the google summary of the page which left me worried about the appearance.
    Now I know where it came from – the bold tag.

    Can you find a solution for that?
    I think the bold emphasis is important at this point in the customer review – but it should not affect SEO.
    Maybe you can find a way to emphasis the name without using neither the bold nor the emphasis tag.

    Hey mw75!

    I would say bold being positive or negative to SEO is not really definitive. If you don’t like it or feel its a negative then its pretty trivial to change or even not use the name field at all and add the name to the testimonial text area.
