   I want to know how to add a sidebar to the shop page because when i add a left or right sidebar to the layout and save the changes it appears that this page (shop) won't change. in addition, i want to remove the pages, category and archives menu in the same page (shop).

   Hi de2ma2,

   The default woocommerce catalog/shop page has its own sidebar area defined by default. Its the "Shop Overview Page" widget area in Appearances>Widgets.

   Once you add any widget to that sidebar area, the default ones will no longer show.

   Devin, how can I remove the side bar on Shop Overview Page? I have removed all the widgets, and now I have list of pages, categoreis and archive showing:

   http://evesnow.kanaonline.co.uk/shop/

   If I drop any other widget there then the above mentioned disapear.

   I have also set the Shop page to Full width, but no result.

   Is this a bug or I'm missing some setting somewhere?

   Hey kresho,

   Not missing anything, the theme doesn't have built in support for that layout so you need to modify the theme files for it. Nick posted a quick how-to here: http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/disable-sidebar-for-shop-page-keep-sidebar-for-product-categories#post-93148
