Hi, I am having problems with the shortcode generator. I have removed all plugins, re installed the abundance theme and i’m running the latest version of wordpress. Basically, I can click on the magic wand icon and it brings up the shortcode options, however when I click on one of the options nothing appears.May 8, 2013 at 7:27 pm #118096
If you have not done so already, re-download the theme files from themeforest (today). Then re-install the them on top of itself to make sure you are using both the most recent version and that all files are complete without any errors in them.
If you can provide a link to the site we can take a look further.

Hi Devin, I did a fresh install a few days ago. The site address is thefallen.sandsculptureice.co.uk

If you can create a temporary admin account for me, I’ll log in and take a look.
You can send the information to my email at DevinVinson (at) gmail.com. Make sure to include a link to this topic so that my spam filter doesn’t grab it :)

Thankyou. Your setup and you should have a couple of emails from me now.

I’ve sent a response. The error i’m getting when trying to use it indicates either a missing file or possibly a conflict with the sub domain. But try re-installing those files I mentioned in the email via FTP first.

Hi Devin, re installed the files via FTP as instructed but it is still the same. Any luck with speaking to the support team with regards to the sub domain?

The problem is that your server can’t execute dialog.php: http://thefallen.sandsculptureice.co.uk/wp-content/themes/abundance/framework/php/avia_shortcodes/tinymce/dialog.php which is required for the popup window which contains the shortcode generator. I’m not sure why it doesn’t work though. Please create me a ftp account and send me the login data to: (Email address hidden if logged out) – I’ll add some debug code to dialog.php.May 15, 2013 at 3:39 pm #118103May 15, 2013 at 5:30 pm #118104
Ok, I think it’s definitely a server configuration issue. I tested to remove the entire php code from dialog.php and I still get the error. Then I added another test file with a php extension and this file didn’t work too. However js files in the same directory work (eg http://thefallen.sandsculptureice.co.uk/wp-content/themes/abundance/framework/php/avia_shortcodes/tinymce/editor_plugin.js ). I’d contact the hoster/server provider and ask the support staff why the server blocks the access to some php files.May 15, 2013 at 5:49 pm #118105
