    When I insert my shortcode [ime]content here[/ime] into Top Banner Message field (Theme Options), the content of this shortcode is not displayed correctly. It simply outputs the exact text “[ime]content here[/ime]”. This shortcode works fine in Posts/Pages.

    Any hits what code I need to add and into which file?

    Thank you for your kind support and I look forward to reply your reply,

    PS: Kriesi themes absolutely rox! :)

    Please open up functions.php at the base of the theme and change line 342 which looks like

    $output .= "<div class='infotext'>$bannerText <a class='close_info_text rounded' href='#close'>".__('close','avia_framework')."</a></div>";

    to look like

    $output .= "<div class='infotext'>".do_shortcode($bannerText)." <a class='close_info_text rounded' href='#close'>".__('close','avia_framework')."</a></div>";
