Hi there. I have the following contact info in a text widget on my contact page and am trying to make the emails a link - but the HTML tag isn't working. Below is what I have and on the front end - there is no link. I also tried to add shortcodes (a button) to the widget but it doesn't stick.

Hi wtflovelife,

I think text widget will work if you use normal html tags. However, shortcodes won't work on them. Try to use: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-php-widget/ and you can do this to execute the shortcode:
<?php echo do_shortcode('[gallery]'); ?>
Just replace the gallery shortcode. Hope this helps. :)

Thanks - bu the HTML is not appearing. would you mind taking a look at it? Let me know where I can email you my login. I have the above in the widget but the links do not display. Thanks
