the shortcodes in Abundance don’t show.
I had the same problem with another website when Kriesi amended this – but I have no idea what he did. Apparently it was some common bug.
I’ve contacted Kriesi, but no response so far.
Please help.July 25, 2012 at 9:11 pm #84584July 27, 2012 at 5:37 pm #84585
Had a look at the support thread, downloaded the new dialog.php, uploaded it as instructedc by Kriesi. Still no change – the shortcodes don’t show via magic wand. I need this urgently for my customer to work.
Is there a way to update Abundance without destroying all files created in the meantime? Probably Kriesi has created an updated version without this bug?
Thanks.July 27, 2012 at 5:52 pm #84586
When you download the update you’ll find in the zip is a version log which details which files have been updated. You can use that to tell you what files specifically have been updated that way you’re not overwriting all the files.

I believe the most recent version is 1.4 which was release at the beginning of July. You can re-download the theme package from your downloads on Themeforest and then view the version.rtf to see which update is the most recent for the package.

Can I re-upload the newest version, without destroying all files created in the meantime? Is it like a skin or like a complete new template???August 3, 2012 at 9:05 am #84590
Yes, if you didn’t modify any files. If you modified some files make a backup of them before you overwrite the theme folder. Afterwards you can replace the standard files with your custom code/files.August 3, 2012 at 9:05 am #84591
Problem is solved – I uploaded just the revised “framework” folder from the newest version – and now the shortcodes work.
Thank you so much for your help!August 3, 2012 at 3:30 pm #84592
