Shortkeys and other icons

   I have 3 questions :

   I would like to delete the shortkeys to twitter, facebook and other. Where can I do that?

   I would like to delete 'the about author' information

   and I would like to delete the icon 'No Comments' because we don't use that part.

   1.) You can delete the icons by opening up header.php, finding and deleting this section:

   2.) To remove Author info, open up single.php, find and delete this section:

   		        {

   3.) Please provide a screenshot of exactly what you want to remove from No Comments. Is this on all posts (including those with comments) or just posts without comments?

   Thanks.

   For question 3: This is for all posts. We don't give anyone the possibility to give a comment. I want to delete the icon and the text : No comments.

   Ok, firstly go to the WordPress Admin -> Settings -> Discussion and turn off comments here.

   There are also a few places in the theme files which need editing to remove comment references.

   1.) Open up comments.php and delete line 36 - should look like this:

   <span class="meta"><?php _e('Comments are closed.','newscast'); ?></span>

   Nothing else needs editing in this file because comments aren't open.

   2.) In archive.php, find and delete this line (around line 85):

   <span class="comments ie6fix"><?php comments_popup_link(__('No Comments','newscast'), __('1 Comment','newscast'), __('% Comments','newscast')); ?></span>

   and this line (around line 124):

   <span class="comments ie6fix"><?php comments_popup_link(__('No Comments','newscast'), __('1 Comment','newscast'), __('% Comments','newscast')); ?></span>

   3.) In single.php, find and delete this line (around line 35):

   <span class="comments ie6fix"><?php comments_popup_link(__('No Comments','newscast'), __('1 Comment','newscast'), __('% Comments','newscast')); ?></span>

   and this lines (around line 100):

   <div class='entry commententry'>
   <?php comments_template(); ?>
   </div>

   4.) In index.php, find and delete this line (around line 128):

   <span class="comments ie6fix"><?php comments_popup_link(__('No Comments','newscast'), __('1 Comment','newscast'), __('% Comments','newscast')); ?></span>

   and this line (around line 167):

   <span class="comments ie6fix"><?php comments_popup_link(__('No Comments','newscast'), __('1 Comment','newscast'), __('% Comments','newscast')); ?></span>

   I think that they are all the references to comments, if you see any please let me know and post a link.

   Thank you very much. It does work.

   For the social icons are also lines in the archive.php, single.php and index.php, below the lines you named. I've deleted these lines also and at that moment the social icons are not visible anymore.
