    Hi guys (and girls), Happy New Year!

    I used the holidays to finally update my site to shoutbox 1.5 and WP 3.8 (it had been on 3.51 for ages). So far (touch wood) so good, I haven’t noticed any bugs, although I haven’t done any serious work in the site yet.

    As I was installing the files I noticed something in the function-set-avia-backend.php file,starting at line 616:

     /*
    * creates a folder for the theme framework
    */
    if(!function_exists('avia_backend_create_folder'))
    {
    	function avia_backend_create_folder(&$folder, $addindex = true)
    	{
    	    if(is_dir($folder) && $addindex == false)
    	        return true;

    Is that ‘(&$folder’…) correct? Shouldn’t it just be ($folder…)?

    Thanks,
    rich

    Hi Rich!

    I believe its correct. See: http://www.php.net/manual/en/language.references.pass.php

    Cheers!
