   Hi Admin,

   I just bought your theme and congrats for great work!
   I would like to ask you where can I find file to edit Soutbox combo widget and so I can translate it to spanish. I need translate comment, tag, popular and recent words.

   Hey,
   the combo widget code can be found in shoutbox\framework\php\class-framework-widgets.php . search for following code to find the widget code:
   

   /**
    * AVIA ADVERTISING WIDGET
    *
    * Widget that retrieves, stores and displays the number of twitter and rss followers
    *
    * @package AviaFramework
    * @todo replace the widget system with a dynamic one, based on config files for easier widget creation
    */

   Just a side note: We'll release an update soon (next few days) which may affect the ADVERTISING WIDGET. So you might want to wait a bit (otherwise you need to translate the widget again :) )

   Hm, I tried to do this for Combo widget but letters with special signs are not accepted. Got "Popul?r?kie raksti" instead of "Populārākie raksti". Probably nothing can be done about it? Pity if we cannot use this useful widget.

   Hey,
   I wasn't able to reproduce your problem. I copied "Populārākie raksti" from your post and placed it where Popular is located in the widget. Like this:
   echo '<div class="tab first_tab widget_tab_popular"><span>'.__('Popular Populārākie raksti', 'avia_framework').'</span></div>';

   The letters showed up as intended. Could you try it again, maybe you did something wrong.

   I have a strange issue with tanslation of labels for Combo widget. Translations do appear, but I cannot upload new media and possibly some other things.

   I get such error message.
   "Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home2/berniemd/public_html/wp-content/themes/shoutbox/framework/php/class-framework-widgets.php:1) in /home2/berniemd/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 934"

   Assuming that I have changed smth. else besides labels, I downloaded and translated several times. But the issue persists.

   Please try to use html entities: http://unicode.e-workers.de/entities.php instead of the special characters in the code. I think it causes problem in the header (encoding/charset type).

   I see. There are no letters we use in the list, but I will try to replace them.

   I have also translated .po file and uploaded instead of the original. No changes appear on the site. I'm doing this for the first time. Is there some trick to it why it's not working for me?

    1) You need to uploaded the .mo file. The file name is important because it must be LANGUAGE.mo

    Instead of LANGUAGE fill in your language shortcode - the language shortcodes can be found here: http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_in_Your_Language -i.e. for Dutch it's nl_NL.mo , for German it's de_DE.mo

    2) Your WordPress must be set to this language (right language defined in wp-config.php).
