    I’ve created a testimonials page here: http://valleychristianoshkosh.com/about-us/testimonials/

    I also display the two most recent testimonials in the footer using a category widget.

    Here’s my issue: In the footer, I want to display a thumbnail image. The only way for me to do that is to add the image to the featured media and the thumbnail works great. However, I’m going to be using the same image for every testimonial and I don’t want the image to show up on every post and the testimonial page.

    How can I add an image to a post to be used as a thumbnail, but not let it show on any post or page?

    Hi,

    You can use the Text Widget and add html codes to embed image thumbnails.

    Ok, great. How would I go about doing that?

    Hi,

    Set a featured image for each testimonial post then add this on your custom.css or Quick CSS to hide the thumbnails for that particular page.

    .page-id-332 .slideshow_container {
    display: none;
    }

    Regards,

    Ismael

    It’s still showing the graphic.

    Here’s the code I pasted into the “Quick CSS”. I tried it with “post” and “page”:

    .post-id-332 .slideshow_container {

    display: none;

    }

    .page-id-582 .slideshow_container {

    display: none;

    }

    Hi gagodfrey,

    Perhaps we just aren’t understand exactly what you are trying to do. Can you give us examples on your site on exactly what you mean?

    The featured image is required to show the thumbnail but it isn’t an optional setting for each page. So if you wanted to hide specific featured images you would need to target the page class or post class by its ID for each page you want it hidden on. Is that what you are trying to do?

    Regards,

    Devin
