Is that possible to show posts as if they are portfolio in the homepage and in the categories pages ? I need to show only medium thumbs with title (three thumbs per row). I need it because I'm migrating from another theme and I have tons of posts.

you can try a converter plugin like: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/convert-post-types/ to convert posts to portfolio items or vice versa. I'd make a database backup first.

But a last question: if I do this conversion, is it possible to show portfolio's itens without a slug, as if they are posts? My concern is about SEO, because I have all my posts with their URLs indexed by Google.
