Sidebar Colour In IE

Hi there,

I am having a strange issue with the sidebar colour not rendering correctly in IE.

I am using the code from this reply #post-245767

Which works great in Chrome, Firefox and Safari but wont work in IE for some reason, is there anyway you could possibly help with this?

I have found a workaround now I just used an image and set it to repeat it now works in IE!
