Can you please point me to the proper files and code to alter the Sidebar Line Height and Font Size?
Also, I am using the table layout and am reading posts that say it is difficult to alter the % of content are versus the $ of sidebar. Search and replace recommended in layout files. Is this true? Where would I find a list of all the layout files that need to be altered.
I just want a wider sidebar and corresponding narrower left content area.
Thank you, great help as always.May 16, 2012 at 2:57 pm #75177
The files that contain the code for the sidebar line height and font size is style.css in your broadscope folder. However we recommend that you always add your custom code in custom.css. Hope this helps. :)

Could you please be more specific as to the lines of code that need to be changed in the style.css or added to custom.css?

Also still need a reply on how to adjust the proportions of the main content area versus the sidebar width, if there is any simple and quick way of doing this.May 22, 2012 at 6:16 am #75180
This might be the quickest way to adjust the proportion of main content area and the sidebar, adding this code to Quick CSS or custom.css:
width: 726px !important;
width: 222px !important;
The value above is the default value for broadscope, just adjust the value in px. Hope this helps. :)

Your suggestion changed the values of the content and sidebar widths, but the sidebar moved to the bottom of the page.
What is wrong, how do I fix that?
I subtracted 80px from the main content width and added 80px to the sidebar width. Width changed in both cases, but the sidebar moved to the bottom of the page. Help!May 24, 2012 at 3:14 pm #75182
Is this the site that you are working at http://flyfoundry.com/? If this is it, I think its because you have two sidebars. I think if you subtract 80px on the content, you should only add 40px on the sidebar because there are two of them. :)

I have reverted the proportions of the main content area and sidebar back to the original. So the sidebar is back to normal. Still want to change the proportions.May 25, 2012 at 1:42 am #75185
I just checked the site and the width of that is not the same in the demo site(broadscope). However, you can try this code instead(I have added 80px on the sidebar and reduced 80px on the content):
width: 646px !important;
width: 218px !important;
Hope this helps. :)
