Sidebar Menu – Published pages

Hi there, my name is Marcia and I’m new with wordpress.

I’ve been using it for about a week and I’m getting to grips with it. But there’s one thing that is bothering me and I can’t seem to find a way to fix it.

I’m working offline to update the current website we’ve got and I don’t know if this changes anything or not.

I’ve published the home page so I could set that as the front page of the website and I have a side menu that contains a list of the products that we make, so they are accessible from both the top menu and the sidebar menu I created.

The problem is that now that I’ve published the Home page, that shows up below that menu I created for just the products and I can’t seem to find a way to just have the products there. I made the experiment and if I publish other pages they will all show up there too.

Can anyone help me sort this problem out. This might be very easy to do, but I really can’t seem to find the solution myself.
