   Hi! Just recently purchased this theme! :)

   1) How do I add my Portfolio Categories using the Habitat Sidebar News Widget? It only retrieves posts from my Post categories.

   2) How do I display my portfolio posts as part of the main page's slideshow?

   3) How do I set the slideshow's size for single posts? I want to use the smaller version, not the 840x400, but keep main page's big version.

   4) How do I display portfolio tags in Tags Cloud?

   5) How do I add the lightbox effect when hovering over photos on portfolio page?

   Hi,
   1) Have a look at this thread: http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/sidebar-portfolio-instead-of-sidebar-news - the answer was given for Avisio but should be the same for Habitat.

   2) This is currently not possible because you can't mix portfolio custom post type with your blog posts.

   3) Go to Habitat Options > Slideshow Options and select "All entries with small pictures" under "Featured Image Option".

   Then you need to open display_featured_media.php and search following line:
   

   if($counter == 1 && $k_option['slideshow']['featured_layout'] == 'firstBig')

   change it to
   

   if($counter == 1 && is_home())

   4) This is currently not easily possible - you would need to modify the tag cloud plugin to support custom post types. This modification is beyond the scope of this support forum.

   5) I don't understand what you mean here. Do you want to create an hover effect or do you want to open/display your pictures in a lightbox. If you want to open pictures in a lightbox you need to append rel="lightbox" to the image link.

   1) I tried this solution but to no avail. Do I need to change anything else after replacing the code? I also assume that this would only retrieve portfolio posts but not both. correct?

   5) sorry for the confusion. What I wanted to achieve is the rollover effect. When I hover my mouse over to the thumbnail on my portfolio page, a small screenshot of the image is displayed. Similar to the live demo of habitat. Is that a separate plugin not included in Habitat Theme?

   1) It works for me here - I've tested it. Maybe you forgot to enter the portfolio category ids (widget option)? Yes this solution will only display portfolio items - mixing blog posts and portfolio items isn't an easy modification.

   5) Can you post a link to the rollover effect? When I hover my mouse over a portfolio image I only see a magnifier symbol. http://www.kriesi.at/themes/habitat/portfolio/portfolio-2-columns/

   sorry my bad.. the rollover effect that I was referring to was the one on kriesi's main blog under them portfolio, which I believed was modded clean cut template.

   Yes Kriesi uses a modified version of cleancut. This feature is actually a special one for his website and is also used in expose (gallery theme).
