Nothing I try will get the sidebar to be well a sidebar. I’ve tried adjusting width % to forcing it as a default on all pages, to boxed, etc… Nothing works.

I simply want main content on the left and the sidebar to go inline on the right. Instead, I get content taking up 100% width and the sidebar goes below the content. It puts it to the right, but not inline like a sidebar should. Here’s the messed up page: http://ozarksmethodistmanor.com/devsite/independent-living-sidebar-test I started building them in-page with columns like thishttp://ozarksmethodistmanor.com/devsite/independent-living. While this looks nice and I want to get the real sidebar to look like this there are three problems with this method. 1) It’s complicated to build when you need varying grid layouts on the main content, 2) This method is not responsive friendly. It ends up alternating sidebar content with main content. 3) You have to rebuild this for each page and if something changes you have to go and change every page.

The sidebar working properly will solve all my issues. Well, with this theme and project. :)

Well, I figured it out. You can’t have any Color Sections and have the sidebar function properly. The sidebar will be placed below the last color section used. I’m not sure if that’s by design or not, but at least I figured it out.
