I was having problems with the slideshow not appearing on the homepage. I was advised to update all the theme files which I have done.
But now I am having problems with the portfolio appearing on every page and also when I try to add a sidebar it doesn't appear.
I have added test pages but it's not having an effect.

Sorry please ignore. On the portfolio theme options it had 5 repetitive sections. I just deleted 4 of them and set the correct settings to the first one. It's now only appearing on the portfolio page :)
