    Hello,

    I’m trying to add social icons to my sidebar because I like the style. I’ve tried to add them in two different ways. The first is using the “Simple Social Icons” Widget (http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/simple-social-icons) but the icons are lined up vertically on top of each other instead of making a table. The second way is I tried adding an html table via the text widget, but it’s putting a blue background behind my first row and the youtube icon has a rollover.

    Here is my example page: http://www.wichitadesignco.com/about-us/

    The grey social icons are the “Simple Social Icons” plugin.

    The black social icons are my html table.

    I tried adding this in my custom.css but it didn’t work for my html table:

    .social-table, td, th

    {

    border:1px solid #ffffff;

    }

    th

    {

    background-color:#ffffff;

    }

    And I tried adding this for the “Simple Social Icons” Widget in my custom.css:

    .simple-social-icons {

    width: 360px;

    overflow: visible;

    float: right;

    }

    Please help and thank you!

    Hi bluefive,

    Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:

    .simple-social-icons ul.aligncenter li {
    width: auto;
    }

    Regards,

    Devin
