    How do I remove the slideshow container in the blog archive and single posts? I’d rather not deliver that image at all, and so would prefer not to use display:none. Also, I see it’s part of the generic templates, but I don’t see how to alter those.

    Thanks for your assistance!

    Hello,

    Locate includes folder. Open loop-index.php, find this code

    //echo slideshow
    echo $sliderHtml;

    Remove it. Open loop-archive.php and find this code and remove it.

    echo $slider->display_small('portfolio', $force_small_slider);

    Regards,

    Thanks, Ismael!

    I’d like to do that in functions.php so the next upgrade doesn’t wipe out the changes. Are there hooks that would allow me to do that?

    Also, is there any way I can get e-mail pings when a thread is updated? Without a profile or list of my forum topics, I might miss your helpful instructions.

    Hi!

    1) Yes, there’re some filters. Eg check choicesincludeshelper-post-format.php for some sample code snippets.

    2) All your posts are listed here: http://www.kriesi.at/support/profile/jaycollier
