On single product page how do you change image size, it’s showing at 290 x 290 now?

You can change the shop_single thumbnail size on config-woocommerce > config.php. Find this code on line 16:
$avia_config['imgSize']['shop_single'] = array('width'=>450, 'height'=>355);
Change the width and the height then regenerate the thumbnails using this plugin. Although this will change the thumbnail size, the image will look the same because of the thumbnail container for the single product view is set to 290px.

I noticed that you didn’t change the dimension or size on the code above. Please adjust it to the size proportioned to the original image size that you’re using for the product. For example, the original product image is 1000x500px. Please replace the code above with this:
$avia_config['imgSize']['shop_single'] = array('width'=>500, 'height'=>250, 'crop' => false);
We added the crop parameter to prevent the image cropping. This will resize the image to 500x250px without cropping the edge of the image. Play around with this procedure until you find the best image size that suits your needs.

Try to change the thumbnail size on the WooCommerce option page. Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Products and change the thumbnail size in the “Product Image Sizes” section. Then regenerate the images with: http://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

Did you uncheck the “crop” option in the WooCommerce settings and then regenerate all images using the plugin above?

Yes. Ive tried that, and images are still cropped. Just to be sure we are on same page, I’m referring to images on the single product page where the add to cart button is.

Use this plugin and see which image fits those dimensions: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/simple-image-sizes/
Its the quickest way to just solve the issue and get the size changed for you.May 11, 2014 at 2:51 pm #262910May 13, 2014 at 8:08 am #263777
I can only view this page: http://urbanemuse.com/shop/product/the-lion-scarf/ (the other link doesn’t work for me) and there the slideshow shows the original images (not cropped). The lion image is cropped but it seems like it’s an embedded image. You can change the thumbnail size of embedded media/images on the gallery screen: http://www.clipular.com/c/5884119984635904.png?k=LWcYas-HQdRKAQgnCCiOZPW3J78
