I know and am aware of the many questions about the sidebar within the single-product page.

I love the propulsion theme, everything BUT the flexibility of the single-product page. I would be very happy to have a single-product page with all hooks (slider, add to card, description and tabs) within one column, so the sidebar is not effected. My right-hand sidebar is now below the product image/order button in the left.

Is there somebody who has solved this issue without too many alterations?

    Hi,

Can you give us a link to your website please?

    Regards,

    Ismael

Hi Ismael, the temporary domain is www[dot]bizy[dot]nl

After many digging I managed to prevent the closing div behind the image and combine the image and summary as one div.

This way I was able to get the sidebar back with a couple of css/php tricks, but had to start the single-productpage layout with calling the sidebar. Only downside is that the page in responsive mode will move the sidebar up to the product details.

So, the real sidebar is actually not restored. Would be great to have the official back in the template.

    Hi swane,

By default WooCommerce always has the sidebar below the product image on the left. So any change to that is a hack/modification of the default setup.

    Hi Devin,

So that’s the case, I was thinking that Propulsion overruled( DESTROYED ;-) ) the sidebars. I will investigate some more on Woocommerce. Thanks!

Nope, it just hooks the product title and price to under the image. Look in the theme files in woocommerce-config>config.php and you can see all the hooks and filters the theme uses to add/remove the woocommerce styles and modify things with the theme functions.
