   Hey Kriesi,

   Absolutely love the theme. I'm wondering about posting and the accordion slider on the home page, http://madefromrealpanther.com. I want to add posts that don't automatically add an image to the slider. Is this possible? Currently, every time I post something it puts it in the slider even without a picture. I have one more question but I'll post another thread to keep the search accurate.

   Hey,
   you can exclude categories from your slider by going in your index.php file.
   Here you'll find
   $additional_loop = new WP_Query("cat="
   change this to
   $additional_loop = new WP_Query("cat=-YOURCATEGORYNUMBER"

   Let's say you create a category "noslider" you could go in your dashboard to Categories, here you can copy the link to your category, mine for example "Uncategorized" is linked as /wordpress/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?action=edit&taxonomy=category&tag_ID=1&post_type=post. By this I know the ID is 1. So to exclude this category I would do this:

   $additional_loop = new WP_Query("cat=-1"

   Okay but I don't want to exclude posts by category. I want all my categories to the have the option to have it's posts in the slider. I just want to manually choose when I publish a post whether or not it is in the slider. Is that possible?

   Hey,
   it's not possible at the moment. I'd suggest to create a "slider" category and to assign all posts to this category which should display in the accordion slider. You need to select the slider category with the option panel (Newscast Options > Mainpage Options )
