Slider - how to create from PAGES rather than POSTS ?

Newly purchased theme member here - I'm liking what I've seen so far. :)

Hoping someone can help - I've searched through the forums but not been able to find this, although my guess is that it's been requested previously.

I'd like the ACCORDION SLIDER to be populated with 5 of my specific PAGES rather than from the POSTS.

What's the easiest method of doing this, please ?

Hi photoMaldives,

As far as I know this isn't possible without significantly re-doing the entire index.php section that builds the slider since its using a loop to pull together the posts.

Thanks for your reply, Devin, even if it is bad news !

I found a topic from 2yrs ago, which *almost* seems to answer my question, but I'm not sure how to apply it to my specific situation - http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/accordion-slider-link-to-category

The advice there is to use a Custom Field - is this feature no longer present in the theme ? Anyway, no problem - I've just installed the CUSTOM FIELDS plugin, but I've not used it before and it's all a bit puzzling !

Do you think there's a possible solution here, somewhere ?

Hi there, Dude - thanks for the link - that one plus another referenced in that thread have got me on the right track ! :)

I've pretty much got what I needed now, just got some CSS to tweak.
