    Hello

    I do love your theme, and I have a great design for it already. However, I am currently need help in two issues:

    1st my slider image got cut off, and I’ve gone through the forums trying to find a solution, including editing slideshow.css and functions.php

    2ndly, this may sound stupid but I do not know where to change the title from “Welcome to Flagship, a bold & clean business theme!” to my logo as shown in the screenshots:

    My development site is at 198.24.151.213 (I used the hosts file to point http://www.netability.sg to this IP address).

    Hello??

    Hi,

    Please add this on your custom.css

    #top .slideshow {
    overflow: visible;
    }

    Regards,

    Ismael

    Hi Ismael,

    Thanks so much for replying. I’ve added that to the custom.css, but I’m still not seeing the changes.

    One other question, is it possible to have the slider fill the full length of the screen (1600px by 566px)?

    1) his may sound stupid but I do not know where to change the title from “Welcome to Flagship, a bold & clean business theme!”

    Probably this text/headline is part of your frontpage template. Go to Flagship > Template Builder, edit your frontpage template and change the content of the headline element.

    2) Flagship does not support a fullwidth slider but you can set a fullwidth background image like demonstrated here: http://www.kriesi.at/themes/flagship/

    3) If your ‘slider image is cut of WordPress probably cropped it. The slider image width can’t exceed the slider width and imo the overflow hacks won’t work. The best solution is to resize the slider image with Photoshop and export the images with 990 or 930px width (depends on the slider). Then WP won’t center crop the images.

    Hello,

    Thanks for the reply! Okay I guess I have to live with the smaller size.

    Anyway, if I would like to replace the default jQuery slider with one that I wrote myself, possible?

    Hi RandyJupiter,

    You would need to dig into the theme files and modify them pretty heavily depending on how your slider works. It wouldn’t something we could assist with here on the support forums however.

    Devin
