Slider not displaying images

Hi,
We are trying to get the image slider working. We have followed the documentation, Add Featured media and linked to 3 images. However when we click update in the backend, the images turn from thumbnails into generic icons of a video reel, and the slider does not work on the homepage.

The images appear in a lightbox if you click on the area where the slider should be (even though we have selected "Apply No Link To image" in the admin)

Hi, no these are just static images I placed there because the slider would't work :(

Please create me an admin account and send me the login data to: kriesi2000-dude@yahoo.com - I'll look into it. Please also contact your hoster if they block loopback connections. Some hosters like Heart hosting, Telekom Austria hosting and Media Template block these connections because of some reasons. However they're necessary for our slider(s) to work and they won't work without loopback connections. Normally hosters don't block these connections but we came across 2-3 hosters...

Hey,
yes I received it. However everything seems to work perfectly fine. A created a sample slider here: http://www.thegeorgewedmore.co.uk/2011/10/hello-world/ and the slider displays correct. I used my own images because your media gallery didn't contain any images (at least wp didn't display them).

I had a problem with the Slider a while back. If I'm not mistaken, I had to correct it by reinstalling one of the PHP support packages. Anyway, that problem resolved itself.

now AGAIN all of a sudden on a website that is stable (in every other way), that has NO one adding or fiddling with the configuration, the slider stops working!

I checked everything - even created a new Slider item etc. White Screen!

Can you direct me in some direction where I can find a way to fix this? Its a customer's account and I'm really not happy about this downtime!
