I can't seem to get the slider to work. The new slider entry page has nowhere to put a photo. Where do I go to upload my photos for the mainpage slider?

Search the new slider entry page for the featured image option field on the right side (it contains a "Set featured image" link and when you click on it the default wordpress media gallery/thickbox will open and you can choose or upload a featured image). If you can't see this option you maybe need to "add" it to the option screen. Search for the "Screen Options" tab on the right top corner and click on it. A dropdown field will expand and you can check/uncheck all available screen options. If you check them you can see/use them, otherwise wp will hide them. You can set one image per slide entry.
