For some reason, even though I have set it to show only posts cat “featured,” the slider is pulling every post. I have two categorized as “Pictures” and it’s showing the post title and no image (but I don’t want it to show at all.)
Also, the little triangle to show what thumbnail you’re on doesn’t stop moving. Sometimes it moves a couple thumbnails a second, like it’s trying to “catch up” to where you are or something. I’m using Chrome for Mac.December 8, 2011 at 2:25 am #57828
I’m not sure what could be causing this. I tried replicating your problem but it works fine for me. My settings are:
Twicet Starting Page Image Slider
The imageslider is populated through one or more post categories of your choice:
I created several posts with only the category Featured and others with different categories. It worked fine, same goes for the thumbnails. Did you install any plugins? If so, try deactivating them and see if this solves anything.December 12, 2011 at 6:11 pm #57829
My settings are the same, and I’ve tried all kinds of variations.
Disabled all plugins.
It seems as if it’s not being limited at all by the category filter. Would you like login info?December 13, 2011 at 12:30 am #57830
One unique thing I thought of:
I had to do a workaround to get something like a splash page working.
My mainpage is set to route to a /home page. Settings> Reading>
Frontpage: “SC” (Routes to hbcallentown.org/sc)
Posts page: “Home” (Routes to hbcallentown.org/home)
This is so that when you type in hbcallentown.org it routes you first to hbcallentown.org/sc instead of /home.
Changing the Twicet blog settings doesn’t affect anything either. I’ve messed with a few different configuration of the Settings> Reading page but can’t get past the mainpage displaying ALL posts instead of limiting it to one category.

You can create me an admin account and send the login info to email@example.com, I’ll have a look at it.December 14, 2011 at 2:56 pm #57832
Thanks. I send an automated message through WP user setup. Let me know if you did not get it or need anything else. RRDecember 17, 2011 at 4:05 pm #57833December 19, 2011 at 10:12 pm #57834
Sorry. Didn’t receive an email. Did you send to this username email or the WP admin email?December 20, 2011 at 10:25 pm #57835
I responded to the mail I received .. so it’s likely it was the WP admin email. (Might have used “chris” instead of “support” as my mailing address)December 23, 2011 at 3:26 pm #57836
I sent an you an email requesting you to resend your email to my updated address. Thank you. Or, please send to firstname.lastname@example.orgJanuary 16, 2012 at 10:08 pm #57837
I received an email back from you (or your staff) that told me you received the information around Christmas time and had lost track of some of the details. I responded immediately but have not heard back. Do you need anything more from me in order to resolve this issue?
Thank you for your help,

I’ve just checked the site again and there’s nothing I can do.
The only option I see is to reset the /home version with a plugin like wordpress reset.
It works fine with a clean installation so there must be something wrong in the Database. It’s not one of the plugins.
Excuse me for the inconvenience.
