    Design: http://imgur.com/T3g9D0x

    HTML: http://doubledrophunts.com/new

    Current Build: http://www.doubledrophunts.com/new/wordpress

    1. I reset the slider and layout css files minus the .mainmeu for the navigation bar but I can’t seem. It’s suppose to be to have a transparent border around it that is 10 px for a size of 700 x 410 w/ a slider image of 676 x 389.

    2. Here is the most confusing part of all… I can not seem to get the sizes right for the portfolio (which should be 4 column), and the shop

    which should show the 5 latest items.

    3. Moving the shoping cart bar & adding the search option.

    Thanks in advanced for anyone who is able to help.

    4. The actual Gallery page should have a categories list on the left

    Hi rbonner,

    I’m not really sure what the question is. We aren’t able to really dive into your html build and offer fixes to make the theme mimic it but if you have specific questions we can try and help where possible.

    Devin

    Your right sorry.

    The biggest thing I’m having a hard time figure out is why my slider images are not showing the right size. Which is suppose to be 676×389 and why the shop and portfolio images are not showing up the default way…

    Hi,

    You can fix the thumbnail sizes by changing the dimension on functions.php, find this code:

    $avia_config['imgSize']['post-format-image'] = array('width'=>630, 'height'=>999, 'crop'=>false); // big images for post format image and gallery posts
    $avia_config['imgSize']['fullsize'] = array('width'=>930, 'height'=>930, 'crop'=>false); // big images for lightbox and portfolio single entries
    $avia_config['imgSize']['featured'] = array('width'=>930, 'height'=>340); // images for fullsize pages and fullsize slider

    The portfolio thumbnails are as follows:

    $avia_config['imgSize']['portfolio'] 		 	= array('width'=>450, 'height'=>335);						// images for portfolio entries (2,3,4 column)

    //dynamic columns
    $avia_config['imgSize']['dynamic_1'] = array('width'=>446, 'height'=>151); // images for 2/4 (aka 1/2) dynamic portfolio columns when using 3 columns
    $avia_config['imgSize']['dynamic_2'] = array('width'=>609, 'height'=>210); // images for 2/3 dynamic portfolio columns
    $avia_config['imgSize']['dynamic_3'] = array('width'=>688, 'height'=>151); // images for 3/4 dynamic portfolio columns

    And you can find the shop images thumbnail sizes on config-woocommerce > config.php:

    //product thumbnails
    $avia_config['imgSize']['shop_thumbnail'] = array('width'=>80, 'height'=>80);
    $avia_config['imgSize']['shop_catalog'] = array('width'=>450, 'height'=>355);
    $avia_config['imgSize']['shop_single'] = array('width'=>450, 'height'=>355);

    You can change the dimension then regenerate the thumbnails: http://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

    Regards,

    Ismael

    I’ve found all those spots, but why is the slider not fitting right, and the thumbnails are not showing up?

    #130731

    The slideshow width is based on css so even if you change the functions.php values it wont automatically shrink that entire container to fit the new smaller image. The image thumbnail is supposed to be changed to fit the layout and not the other way around.

    For the thumbnails not showing, it looks you have not set an image for those products which must be set on the individual page under the product description where it has the meta box labeled “Featured media – add any number of images and/or videos”.

    Adding an image to the description of the product in the visual editor will not tell the theme or wordpress it is the product image.

    So your saying that the slider image needs to be set to 686×389 before it is uploaded? Which I’ve done the 3rd image on the slider is still not working right.

    I am so frustrated with this slider.

    It seems like WP uses a thumbnail version of the image – http://doubledrophunts.com/new/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/buck_640x480-640×151.jpg instead of http://doubledrophunts.com/new/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/buck_640x480.jpg but I’m not sure why the thumbnail version is used and not the original image.

    Please create me a wordpress admin account and send me the login data to: (Email address hidden if logged out) – I’ll look into it.

    @Ismael How can I remove the cropping effect from the portfolio thumbnails? On the homepage and the gallery.

    I tried `//dynamic columns

    $avia_config = array(‘width’=>446, ‘height’=>151, ‘crop’=>false); // images for 2/4 (aka 1/2) dynamic portfolio columns when using 3 columns

    $avia_config = array(‘width’=>609, ‘height’=>210, ‘crop’=>false); // images for 2/3 dynamic portfolio columns

    $avia_config = array(‘width’=>688, ‘height’=>151, ‘crop’=>false); // images for 3/4 dynamic portfolio columns`

    I regenerated my thumbnails and no changes. What gives?

    #130735

    Hey!

    Search for

    $avia_config['imgSize']['portfolio'] 		 	= array('width'=>450, 'height'=>335);						// images for portfolio entries (2,3,4 column)

    and replace it with

    $avia_config['imgSize']['portfolio'] 		 	= array('width'=>450, 'height'=>335,  'crop'=>false);						// images for portfolio entries (2,3,4 column)

    Regards,

    Peter
