Slideshow and thumbnail issue

   Hi guys, somehow I screwed up the feature slideshow (either one within the newscast) You can see it here: http://www.groundhandling.net

   1) I use the image as feature and it shows only the first post. If I deactivate the first one, it will use the second post with feature image and right category. But no sliding action or newsslideshow options on the right. I have moved and changed files and got stuck. Then I deleted the theme, downloaded it again and after uploading (and uploading the changed style and style3.css files) it still doesn't work. I can't find anything specific in the stylesheets that explain the sliders not to work.

   Also the opacity:0.8 was lost somewhere, I don't know in which file it was, it was not in the stylesheets it seems, so I added it to the style sheet, but now it doesn't work in IE.

   Furthermore the thumbnail, taken from the feature image, is not working.

   I hope you can help and if you need access with ftp, please let me know.

   Hi Atillam,

   First, try disabling all your plugins and see if that helps with recovering the basic functionality.

   When you say you deleted the theme and then re-uploaded, did you download the most recent version from Themeforest and then upload the entire new theme? If you have not, I would recommend it as its had a few good changes and fixes for browsers and a security fix with timthumb.

   Keep any customized files you have and see if loading the updated theme without any modification fixes the issue. Just want to make sure its not something outside of the theme, like a plugin, that is causing the issue. Then you can start re-adding your customizations to try and diagnose what specific change is causing the errors.
