    Hi guys

    Just wondering if there is a way to position the captions on the frontpage slideshow further to the left and right? I find that the current left/right side settings are too close to the middle and there’s just too much space either side.

    Cheers

    Hi,

    I don’t see any captions on the url linked from your name. Since there are multiple sliders, and multiple ways to add a slider to a page, the only way we can ensure that the code we give works, is if you provide a link to the actual slider in question. But yes, it can be re-positioned whichever way you want.

    Thanks,

    Nick

    Hi Nick

    The website is http://adelaideglassblocks.com.au/dev/ and the slider is the one on the front page. I would like the captions on this slider to appear further to the left/right, rather than slightly left/right of the centre as they appear now.

    Thanks

    Jess

    Hi,

    Please add this to your Quick CSS located in Replete > Theme Options > Styling Layout … the text area at the bottom of the page OR to /css/custom.css

    .caption_right .slideshow_inner_caption {
    left: 180px;
    }
    .caption_left .slideshow_inner_caption {
    right: 180px;
    }

    You can play around with the numbers , you currently have them at 0, and 180 takes them almost to the end with enough room left over for the arrows. If you need to also move the text up or down you can use the bottom:-200px; or top:200px;

    Thanks,

    Nick
