On a regular computer, the slideshow controls (arrows, play/pause button) become visible when hovering over an image.
On a mobile device, the slideshow controls don’t become visible when hovering over an image. That means that people can’t view the next images in the slideshow. Screenshot: http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7233/7018115493_5c2719b64f_b.jpg
Can the slideshow controls be fixed in such a way that they are visible/invisible depending of the hover state of an image for big screens (computer), but when the screen becomes smaller (mobile device) the controls don’t rely on the hover state, meaning they are always visible.
I’m not sure about changing them depending on the device, but you can make them visible always. You’ll need to open adaptavia.js and search for
Then change all of the opacity numbers beneath it to 1 (instead of 0 or .9). Just don’t go past the next function :)
Thanks Devin. Changing the hover event will do for now.
Can you check with Kriesi if it also can be dependent of the kind of device, maybe in the near future?
