    Hi,

    sorry about all the posts, im pretty new to this!

    Just wondering if I can make the slideshow controls (grey bar) not run to the edge of screen, rather just to the edge of the image?

    Also can the little icons on both the left and the right of the slideshow controls be pushed “in” a little, as in not so close to the outside edge of the images?

    Thanks

    Hey,

    1) This is not possible because the slider extends to 100% witdh and it’s hard to center the caption bar here (especially cross browser compatibility, etc. can cause problems).

    2) Yes – open up css/custom.css and add following code:

    .slidecontrolls, .autoslidecontrolls {

    margin-left: -489px;

    width: 978px;

    }

    Increase the margin-left value (and decrease the width value) to push the control buttons towards the center.

    Number 2 worked great, thanks a lot.

    Can the grey bar be removed entirely and still leave the slideshow control buttons?

    Thanks for your help

    Yes – add following code to css/custom.css:

    .feature_excerpt {

    background: none;

    }
