Hello,
is it possible in the Habitat-Theme to use a slideshow as in the Display theme?
I want to have a slideshow with 4 or 5 sliding pics which are hyperlinked to posts or pages.

Habitat has a slideshow built-in, the documentation has some information regarding how to use. If you are referring to reproducing the same kind of slider i'm sorry, this requires quite a bit of modification that we are unable to provide here.
