If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
We need to place the slidehow in the middel of the content area.
So there is content above and below the slidehow.
We could make a tempalte and place the post/page data before (or after) the slideshow, but that means the other content after (or before) the shidehwos can only be edited in the template itself.
This is not an efficient way to work/manage the page.
Is there a way to call the slidehow by a shortcode?
Or maybe aan other solution?
Hope to hear from you soon.
You can create a Slider in a new Page using the Magic Wand (without entering ALB), then invoke the shortcode in the Page Template with this:
Thanks for your reply.
Sorry, but i dont think i understand what you mean.
– The magic wand does not provide an option to insert a slideshow.
– What is ALBL (the textmode)?
– And can you give an example of the shortcode to call the slideshow?
You can switch to Default Editor and click on Magic Wand to see full list of shortcodes http://i.imgur.com/n4KXkdm.jpg
then you can create any of them and copy/paste shortcode into any other content element or into text widget.
( ALB = Avia Layout Builder )
I’m sorry but there is no shortcode for the slider. You can only use the Post/Page Content element. You can create another page then choose this page for the 2nd Post/Page Content element. Anyway, you should probably try Enfold. It is much more flexible and you can create tons of page layouts because of the Advance Layout Builder. Visit this link.
