Im new with Propulsion and I use Portfolio-Items to show products of a company. My Problem ist that there are a lot of small images to be used and those images will be scaled up to fit the width of slider; not looking good and making the page overall very high.
Is there a simple way to leave smaller images small? I dont want to deactivate scaling in general, because there are large images too that should be downscaled, that works pretty fine.
Changing the small Images to larger ones, or “putting them on larger canvas” is not possible.
Can I limit the height of the Slider somehow? That works for larger images when Slideshow Size is set to “Full width Slider”, but smaller images change the height of Slider anyway (like in Adjustable Slider) …
Any help is very appreciated!

you can see the effect here:
It’s the third image of the slideshow causing a huge zoom. I have a lot of Images of that size to be used for portfolio items.
It would be perfect if the slider would not zoom smaller images, or at least if there would be a Option to tell so.

Were you able to take a look?
Is the slider supposed to work that way?
What solution do you suggest?

Yes, that is the correct behavior of the slider. Unfortunately, I am not aware of a solution that would change the core functionality of the avia slider to display small images without scaling them. Some have attempted to modify the functionality, but I’ve not seen it implemented without major issues as of yet (making consideration for smaller images that is).
The most simplistic solution for you would be to put the images on a white or solid color background. Since you’ve said that isn’t an option, I’m not sure what other avenue you can go down.
Additionally, I’ll send in a feature request to Kriesi to add support for smaller images or maybe some kind of customization for the size of the slideshow images.
