    Hi Guys,
    Is there a way of adding some social media icons where the search header is? I like how the social icons appear on the mobile version, however, for desktops i’d like some icons in the header. They don’t have to be the standard social icons included, they could just be images with hyperlinks.

    Any ideas?

    Hi robsechardware!

    You can add following code to Quick CSS in Replete theme options under Styling tab to display social sidebars on the side only on screens smaller than 990px

    @media only screen and (min-width: 990px; ) { #top.js-big-slider .social_bookmarks { display: none; } }

    And you can add new social icons in Header.php file ( Appearance > Editor > Header.php ). If you need any help with it, please create a temporary admin login and post it here privately so we can can do it for you

    Best regards,
    Yigit

    Hey!

    Sure, i tried to login but admin login you have posted seems to be incorrect. In WordPress dashboard please go to Appearance > Editor and open Header.php file and search “get_product_search_form();” then right under

    echo "</div>";

    add line i underlined here http://i.imgur.com/tJNPSyu.jpg
    then go to Quick CSS in Replete theme options under Styling tab and add following code

    .tel { float: right; }

    It should look like this http://i.imgur.com/y1pVmfX.jpg
    You can use .tel class to style phone numbers text
    Cheers!

    Sorry to bring this back up,
    I’ve managed to add a social Icon into the header using the header.php and some CSS to style it. However, I don’t want the icon to appear on the mobile version of the site as it appears out of place etc…

    Is there a way to display the social icon in the header of the desktop site only and keep the mobile version as it is with the original social bookmarks at the top. This surely must be achieved using some javascript and CSS?

    Please advise

    Hi!

    Which social icons are you referring to? the ones that are on the right or the one that says “like us on facebook”?

    Cheers!
