    Hey there,

    I have tried to change the Social media icons and have replaced the RSS feed with a tumblr link and icon however the icon is not appearing but the link is there http://www.bliqueapparel.com.

    2. How do I include a fourth link in the shop menu?

    Thanks

    Beau

    Hi,

    1.) You need to change the actual icons-tumblr.png file on the images folder.

    2.) You can go to Appearance > Menu, create a new menu. Assign the new menu on Theme Location > Flashlight Shop Menu.

    Hey Ismael,

    Thanks for your reply, I have created a tumblr icon and placed it in the images folder and it doesn’t show. I was following this thread on how to do it fyi http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/changing-scoial-media-icons#post-105822

    2. I have created a menu for the shop page but I would like to centre it, is there a way using css?

    Thanks

    Hi,

    Are you sure you place the image on the correct folder? Please check the url on the background property.

    It should center itself automatically.

    .sub_menu {
    margin: 0 auto;
    }

    Regards,

    Ismael

    Hey,

    Yeah the tumblr icon is placed in (../images/skin-minimal/icons-rounded-tumblr.png) and I have added the following code to the quick css

    .social_bookmarks .tumblr a {

    background: transparent url(../images/skin-minimal/icons-rounded-tumblr.png) 0 0 no-repeat;

    }

    As you can see on the site the link is active where the icon should be.

    2. When I create the sub menu for the shop this is what happens

    Uploaded with ImageShack.us

    Hi Beau,

    The css in your quick css actually needs to be an exact url to the image location since a relative url wouldn’t work because the file isn’t in the same physical location.

    For the sub menu on the shop we’ll need to see the menu live and inspect the code to see whats going on.

    Devin

    Thanks Devin,

    The icon is now showing on the home page but when I go to another page it disappears again..

    As for the sub menu I will change it back so you can inspect the code.

    One other thing, is it possible to add a sub menu to say the terms and conditions page?

    Thanks,

    Beau

    The url needs to be exact, so:

    .social_bookmarks .tumblr a {
    background: transparent url(http://bliqueapparel.com/wp-content/themes/flashlight/images/skin-minimal/icons-rounded-twitter.png) 0 0 no-repeat;
    }

    For the shop menu you can use:

    #menu-shop-menu {
    width: 360px;
    margin: 0 auto;
    }

    Just make sure to adjust the width if you change the menu contents.

    Thanks Devin!

    That code for the tumblr icon has worked.

    And I just had to add padding for the sub menu to allow the body text to centre again.

    Is it possible to add a sub menu to other pages?

    Thanks

    You would need to have that done by a freelance developer as there would need to be a new menu area added to the page template and a function to register the menu area for wordpress to use it.
