I am using the Addthis plugin to show social sharing buttons and in the plugin I have stated to show the icons on the homepage as well. However, unfortunately they do not appear on dynamic pages such as the homepage. The same goes for another dynamic page (http://www.bigdata-startups.com/best-practices/) that I have created. There are no icons there as well.

How can I achieve this in the Angular theme that also on dynamic pages there are social sharing buttons?

    Hi Mark,

You will need to find out if that plugin has some shortcode you can add to a page so that it gets output where you need it. Then you can put that shortcode in the pages content and have it where you want it.

That would be the easiest route to go.

    Hi Devin,

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately they do not have shortcodes. It was more that within the plugin I stated to show the Addthis icons also on the homepage, but for some reason this does not work with the dynamic templates of the Angular theme. I was hoping you knew a solution for that.

The dynamic templates don’t function in the same way as a normal page so it would have to be added in through another method. I know there are social plugins out there that have shortcodes and even using a widget of the share-this style function could work even if the integration on a templated page would be a bit of work.

    Hi Devin,

Ok, thanks for your reply. I will look for a different plugin.
