Tagged: background resize

I have recently purchased the flagship theme, and even when I really like it, I´m having some problems with it.
– Background image doesn´t resize to fit screen as it does in your live demo, doing this:http://www.crossfitpowercorner.com/
instead of this:http://www.kriesi.at/themedemo/?theme=flagship
– Also, background is not displaying as “big” as in the demo
– There is some text in the homepage, disp`layed over the background image, that I can not get rid of.
Thank you very muchJune 26, 2012 at 9:03 pm #80017
Did you solve your issues? Reason I ask is when I visit your website I see no difference in how your background behaves as opposed to how the demo’s background behaves. Also the only text I see that is displayed over the background image is your logo and menu.

well solved it…sort of, changed homepage template taking away the slider and putting big top margin, but when I try to use an slideshow happens what I indicate in my first post.
One more thing, the navigation in mobile devices (or risizing the window), doesn´t appear centered, it appears displaced to the right, how can I change that?
and how can I put a tiled background below the top image, instead of a solid colour as it is by default?
Thanks in advanceJune 27, 2012 at 8:32 am #80019June 29, 2012 at 7:55 am #80020June 30, 2012 at 10:48 am #80021
Well, yes and no,
I really like how the webpage is resulting, really like the theme, and I´ve solved most of the issues I´ve come with. Page is looking great in Firefox, but dynamic pages appear completely messed up in IE 9.
What can I do about this?
For other issues I have found the solutions by myself, but this goes beyond my knowledge, because I don´t understand why everything appears ok in firefox and not in explorer.
Somebody help?July 1, 2012 at 2:39 am #80022
I think it might have something to do with how the AddThis button code is added into the header. Its added in before the doctype is declared which is putting IE9 into quarks mode and causing the display issues.
Try disabling the AddThis plugin or removing the code if you’ve added in manually.

you were right, it was add this what was causing the problems.
Do you know of any way to use it or some similar plugin for social sharing without conflicts with your theme?
Thank you very much.July 3, 2012 at 3:12 pm #80024July 3, 2012 at 8:16 pm #80025
